I bumped into this film just by accident and I am glad I did. This is one of those simple sweet love stories you  have come across n number of times in Hindi cinema but it still worked it’s way to becoming one of my favorites. It was in fact a welcome relief from all the slam bang action and sleaze fest which Bollywood has been offering us lately.
The plot – A boy and a girl in college are at loggerheads. They keep fighting until KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI. Saquib Saleem, Saba Azad, Nishant Dahiya and Tara D’Souza are just adorable in their respective roles. At times the film gave a feel of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na sans Imran Khan and Genelia. The major nailing factor in most college romances has to be the chemistry between the leads and here too it works like magic.
Though the film has it’s share of college cliches it still is a feel good film. The concept of hidden identities is nothing new but it aptly reflects today’s world where people conceal their insecurities behind their online avatars. A world so much engrossed in smileys and online statuses that we have failed to realize the impact of a genuine smile or the warmth of a hug or a handshake
Nupur Asthana does an impressive job in her directorial debut with a talented bunch of young actors.
MFK – Just adorable!
