What made Dad so special? What made him stand out from the others? He knew how to give without expecting anything in return. Giving is one those rare gifts for not everybody is blessed with a large heart. The ability to give decreases in proportion to the increase in wealth. Just a couple of days ago I came across a post on FB which spoke of a person who begs to provide for orphans. It was heart-warming. Everybody’s racing ahead. But there’s just enough goodness to make this world a better place.
Giving not only signifies money and material. You can always be a shoulder to cry for a person in trouble. Show them your love and give them some of your valuable time. You never know sometimes all you need is a person to share to heal a wounded heart. Never let anything stop you from giving for when you learn to give the joy multiplies hundred fold. So what’s stopping you? Spread the love, reach out and touch lives. It might just change your life too.
I close with a gem of a quote by Madeline Bridges” Then give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you”.

Love your thoughts on giving. Thanks for sharing. I especially love the reminder that we don’t just have to give money. Time and energy are just as valuable. 🙂

I enjoy reading your post. I’m also participating in the A to Z challenge (besides the #blogboost Ultimate Blog Challenge). Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” We are blessed so that we may bless others.
